Toronto Welcomes the World: FIFA World Cup 2026™ Comes to BMO Field

Toronto is set to take centre stage this summer as one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The city will be buzzing as the world’s biggest sporting event brings fans, cultures and unforgettable football moments to the heart of downtown. 

BMO Field will host six FIFA World Cup matches, including five group stage fixtures and one knockout round.

Supporters can expect to see Canadian stars such as Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David, as well as global stars including Sadio Mané (Senegal), Florian Wirtz (Germany), and Luka Modrić (Croatia). 

No match ticket? No problem! Toronto’s official FIFA Fan Festival™ will take place at Fort York National Historic Site and Garrison Common, and will run for the duration of the World Cup from June 11 – July 19, 2026. The festival will have free general admission with giant screens to watch every match live, music and cultural performances, food vendors, plus interactive fan zones and activities for all ages.
