Vancouver Welcomes the World: FIFA World Cup 2026™ Comes to BC Place

Vancouver is set to take centre stage this summer as one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The excitement is building to what should be a fantastic summer of football! 

BC Place Stadium in Vancouver will host seven FIFA World Cup matches, including five group stage fixtures and two knockout rounds.

  • Sat, June 13, 2026 — 9:00 PM: Australia vs UEFA Path C Winner 

  • Thu, June 18, 2026 — 3:00 PM: Canada vs Qatar 

  • Sun, June 21, 2026 — 6:00 PM: New Zealand vs Egypt 

  • Wed, June 24, 2026 — 12:00 PM: Switzerland vs Canada 

  • Fri, June 26, 2026 — 8:00 PM: New Zealand vs Belgium 

Knockout Rounds 

  • Thu, July 2, 2026 — 8:00 PM: Round of 32 

  • Tue, July 7, 2026 — 1:00 PM: Round of 16 

 

Fans travelling to Vancouver will get to see some of the game’s biggest stars including Alphonso Davies (Canada), Kevin de Bruyne (Belgium) and Mohamed Salah (Egypt). 

Even if you don’t have tickets to a match, Vancouver’s FIFA Fan Festival™ will be a great place to catch a game! The festival will take place in PNE Amphitheatre and Hastings Park, and will run for the duration of the World Cup from June 11 – July 19, 2026. The festival will have free general admission with giant screens to watch every match live, music and cultural performances, food vendors, plus interactive fan zones and activities for all ages.
